The Shiba Inu is a Japanese dog breed that dates back millennia. Threatened with extinction at one time, following the importation of European dogs to Japan in the 1900s. The "pure" mini shiba inu breed was saved by enthusiasts who set the breed standards in 1934 to perpetuate it.

It was necessary to look for individuals not reached by crossings, sometimes very far in remote areas of the Japanese mountain! Originally a hunting dog specialising in tracking small game and birds in rugged terrain, the Shiba is titled after its fundamental function: "Shiba" in the Japanese language means "brush" and "Inu", "dog ".

At the end of 1936, the Japanese government declared the breed, fixed according to the standards of purity and thus protected.  Shiba inu puppies price depends upon different factors and varies according to their features.
